About Me
I have worked in the Music Business industry for most of my life. Born into a musical family, I began my journey as a Singer and Writer. While developing my artistic abilities, I discovered my passion for the business side of the industry and pursued a career as a Music Publisher and Performing Rights Representative.
Serving in many capacities, I’ve worked with some of the biggest productions and names in business and entertainment. I have sang and shared stages alongside Fantasia, Harry Connick Jr., Toshi Reagon, Shedrick Mitchell, David Bratton, Fred Hammond, Israel Houghton, Kim Burrell, Todd Dulaney and Anthony Brown, just to name a few. As a Member of the Music Publishing Affairs team at TRO Essex Music Group, I have managed and represented the musical catalogs of Bernice Johnson Reagon (and Toshi), Bill Evans, LeadBelly, Woody Guthrie, The Who and Pink Floyd. As a Creative Director, I have secured song placements for Warner Bros., HBO, Amazon Studios, Hulu and Netflix. I’ve processed licenses and agreements for Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Gary Clark Jr., David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull and Blake Shelton. As a Projects Manager, I have spearheaded many program initiatives, including the centennial musical celebration for songwriter Bart Howard, Carnegie Hall’s Lullaby Project and a special collaboration with Live On NY. As the International Administrator for Broadcast Music, Inc., I’ve worked with global societies to ensure the creative works of Songwriters and Composers were properly protected and compensated in foreign territories.
Most recently, I utilize my experience and expertise as a Creative Consultant and Special Projects Liaison to ensure Artists and Business Professionals are equipped with the tools and resources necessary to effectively administer their careers. See More of What I’ve Been Up To…
